MAP sensor changed for a new one, drive like it should now, 4 min job £20 and its all good to go now
By the way, you can do the roof lining for £40 will take a few days, I did it well worth the time and satisfaction DIY

Yeah, my roof lining is still outstanding. I'm considering fitting a reversing camera for the missus and was wondering about placing the screen hanging from the roof above the rear view mirror. Doing the headlining at the same time seems a sensible move.

The P38a passed it's MOT yesterday, with 3 advisories.
1. *slight play in n/s drag link*. (same as last year)
2. slight coolant leak (now fixed)
3. o/s sill slight corrosion.
** I told the tester that I replaced the drag link 6 months ago. His reply was not to worry as they are all like that.

I swear they just make up some innocuous stuff to make it look like they have checked it thoroughly.

Fortunately my MOT is still many months away so I should have a few weeks of driving the beast before it is scrapped!

Didn't get much done this weekend as I popped over to Nottingham to attend the opening of Pidcocks new Ducati dealership and started lusting after the Panigale once again!

Spent a bit of yesterday cleaning up the brake lines and fittings on my Suzuki 'Kettle' and then gave my headlining fibreglass another scrub - in preparation for its recovering, (at some point in the near future), once I have worked up the courage to start spraying adhesive all over the place and then trying to get an oblong of cloth to fit a somewhat 'curvaceous' shell!

Also hoping that my Benelli tank paintwork can be saved after it succumbed to the ravages of the increased level of ethanol that is now added to petrol, (lots of paint bubbles and blisters).

And still have to find some quality time to fit my cheapo electric gates!

Pretty sure someone in Lincs was asking about a Nanocom. I'm up in Grantham on Wednesday and Thursday so could bring it up with me if they like. Cannot do Thor engine though.

Grrrrrr, I would certainly have liked to take full advantage of your kind offer of a quick diagnostic read of my HIVAC, (not sure that your offer was directed to me though - apologies if not)!

Unfortunately I am banished to Nottingham tomorrow and Thursday, (06:30 - 16:00), otherwise I would have driven the beast over at a time to suit yourself, (although you may not want to be seen on the same street as my P38)!

I will definitely be investing in a Nanocom, (during the next few weeks), but may need to get a Scooter for our Husky's, first, especially our younger 'Wolfette' as she has lots of energy and I can't run with her every night but I can use a Scooter, (letting her and one of her chums do most of the work)!

No problem. I'll be staying up there or nearby on Thursday night. Think I am staying in Lincoln now on Thursday night. Generally I consider myself lucky to get out of work before 18:00.

Just enjoying driving it, was doing 23 something mpg on the motorway today and 19 mpg on B roads this evening over a 1 and half hour drive so once I finally get it on LPG that's cost equivalent about 40 mpg on a V8 :D:D:D:D
