im about to rebuild my air block, its sat on the kitchen table now. if this aint where my leak is, then i give up!
Replaced the steering damper. Easy enough job and although only a small test drive, it seems to have ironed out some of the twitchiness I was getting. Will find out for sure when I take it for a blast down the motorway.
Put it in the For sale section
My original death wander was caused by the steering box not having been adjusted for god knows how long - one tweak transformed the car.
Drain plug is obvious, the filler plug is harder to find.changed gearbox fluid and strainer the filler pipe wouldn't come of do had to remove gearbox sump with filler attached was going to do transfer box fluid but couldn't find the drain plug

yip looked at that before I started and thought there you are but when I got underneath the little begger has hidden from me all I can see is the bolts that hold the casing togetherPicture in RAVE section 10 under car maint.
