Followed a mate towing an old Mahogany boat with his old Disco 1.
Couldn't believe how far the rear suspension dropped when we hooked up the trailer the rear wheels were almost in the arches
Half way up a steep'ish Dinemore hill he had to pull over due to almost cooking his old 300tdi too much weight!
So we had to swap, dropping the trailer onto my towbar saw the back of my Rangie sag, old mate looked well smug "ha ya air suspension ain't that clever" etc
10secs later the valveblock went "click click" and the rear levelled out
Should of seen his face!
She pulled it up the rest of the hill, engine screaming + the VC on my fan locking so it sounded like an aeroplane from the front and a TVR from the back
As i crested the hill I suddenly remembered my mate mentioning the trailer brakes didn't work so i arrived at the otherside with my brake discs glowing with over 3 ton on the arse end!
There are times EAS is a lifesaver
