Hi, just a thought but a bit of silicone spray or similar on the glass edges if you think it’s binding in the channels. Only mention that because I recently did the same on the house window mechanism and cured an issue I’d had for a few years.

Why is nothing ever ever straightforward???
Fan 36mm won't undo, just turning the engine and can't see any way to stop it! Can't even undo the 3 bolts holding the pulley onto the pump!!!

Trick get it, anyway, if it’s the glass binding could you rub down the channels or glass edge? Is it both sides?Cheers that's a good trick already tried
