Think the regulator on my alternator is on its way out. Voltage is all over the shop! Within a few mins of starting up today it dropped to 13.4v, that can't be right. If seen it as low as 13.2v and as high as 14.4v
Could be right if it is a smart one dropping to float.

I only use LandyZone pretty much and I get ^^^
If just needs top up from starting yes, V8 don’t take so much oomph as the diesel.

Are the brake disc retaining screws on P38s made of chocolate? I've done three corners now and I've had to drill every one of the f*ckers. Not holding my breath for number 4.

They do use power. Park it in sun so you don’t need to demistWent for a drive, turned on the front and rear screen, battery volts went down to 12.9v while driving
Drop test your battery if you are concerned. Easy peasy
Yes that’s normal. I’ve actually had harder chocolate. Atleast they are easy to drill out

That's a relief. I was using the impact driver and a bfh, instant round hole where the pozi used to be.They do use power. Park it in sun so you don’t need to demist

They just sheared with me, tapped bF screwdriver into them and then they came out all mangled but threads on disc were fine.
Put them back in like that too so the threads stay clean

LH drill bits are good i just got a load, proper old school English makes from an old engineering firm that went years ago and some tools
i put a dab of copper grease on the new screw when i did mine.

That's all four wheels with new pads, discs and calipers. The very last slide pin was stuck, put the end in the vice and ****ted the carrier with a hammer and it freed off. Bit worried about the thick black grease all over the LH rear disc and pads. If it was the front I'd say a cv boot had gone. Hub and bearing seem fine.

Only hub there? Prop usually flicks grease under by the sub frame.
Unless the old brake pipe was leaking causing crud to gather?
