Ours looks like this after I did the compressor/drier.

It’s surprising what the car can actually tell you.
I only started taking notice after problems. Also should find somewhere a volt meter and it’s pretty accurate. (Only found that after a weak battery).
There’s a lot in them yet to learn.

Well she did good with the west coast and van duty.
Put on a mega amount of miles grafting like anything apart from a squeaky wiper blade.

they don't like been used, totally reliable for the 3 month lockdown, it resents being used and is showing this by phantom locking

Fitted the wheels with new tires, the wheels with the part worn tyres will go on the project car.

I just went on line to do my house insurance on a comparison website (the ones with the rats) got a quote from Admiral for just under £100, I am already insured for my car with them, so he said if I have a multi cover policy they can give me a discount, and they did, it went from almost £100 to £7.83!!! I couldn't believe it, so the wifes car is coming up soon, so I asked can they put her on that as well? (the lowest quote is (£150) they got that down to £32.64.... but that's until September, can't wait till mine comes up to see what that is!!! But it's just crazy!! and they gave me back £25 last week because I wasn't driving my car much!!

Disconnected the Drivers door access height button again, connected it up a couple of days ago as it has never worked and had to reset the fault codes 5 times. Also can't understand why the rear wiper stopped working with it connected.

Oh and I think I found a faulty speaker in the door

Speaker will be fine with bit of gaffa tape round it.

Put £91.26 worth of diesel in it first time in 7 weeks, 23.25 mpg brim to brim happy with that for round town, might be different matter next time though now more traffic about.

Too much S Club 7 will do that to a stereo

Pretty sure it's melted, I'll know better when I take it out but I think the magnet has got too hot and melted the plastic, the top of the magnet has embedded itself in the foam behind the door card.

Started my brakes. So far I've had to cut the bottom caliper bolt and drill the screw that holds the disc to the hub. And I think new calipers are called for:

You could clean them up and put new rubbers etc but new callipers aren’t too expensive

Yeah, just ordered two calipers plus the assorted bolts from JGS.

these were/are decent fir tree clips (i ordered some), but I think ours need 7mm and these were 8mm - so you're either drilling metal - or stripping fir.
