I had a look this morning after reading your post. Around £80 and if it saves fuel and tolls then that is the solution.

@Salisbury Nick I did! The additional is a mishimoto fan. Around 87mm thick and 460cm big. It cable tied through the rad fins with washers to share the load over the vains. It's done 1.5yrs so far and cools the rad in less than 30 secs along with the two air con fans. :cool:

Drove her to Englandshire, and she is not happy about it. I need the o/s/f lower ball joint replacing :(
It's not major but only half way to London, then have the journey home, at some point.

Anyone recommend a trustworthy mechanic, near Heathrow? @Dopey ?

@Dopey , @brianp38dse thanks guys. However, my reason for travel has now left the building. So I am going to about turn and head back to Scotland. I will just go straight to the amazing folks who are Gibsons and put her in their care.
