Fitted the new to me passenger door handle to the Black one, tried to start it but the starter motor just clicked. Took it off the car to check it out. Thought it was supposed to be a bugger of a job ( 4.6 Gems)Turned out to be corroded connections, not surprised as it has been standing for probably 9 years now. All cleaned and working now, pity the engine won't start without a quick whiff of Devils juice. Not much petrol in it so a trip to the garage is on the cards but not today. Nice to see that the guy i bought it from, a friend, was telling the truth. New block fitted and only done 4k miles.Don't know if it can be seen in the photo's, should have taken them before refitting the starter motor.

continued strip down of motor ready to remove cylinder head and see what damage I have done.Quite a big job getting exhaust manifold/turbo out but all done now, couple of oil drips that I can sort now that I can see where they are coming from. Still head off first.
