took it for an MOT. passed.

advisory of slight play on upper ball joints.

what a ball ache !
Not a bad job Adam, as long as the abs sensors haven't siezed. Best do top and bottom while its stripped down. You have to remove one to get access to the other, cannot remember which it is. Pity your not closer, I bought the press kit when I did mine . Put the joints in the freezer for 24 hrs before fitting,

that's very decent of you TCA. aside from doing both top and bottom i think it would be worthwhile doing all the bushes at the same time. i figure it will need the tracking set up again after the ball joints so might as well do them all !

if you want to move closer you're perfectly welcome.. not just to lend me the press tool but pitch in too !

Here's the headlining pics.. after of course..

Thanks to Dopey for the walk through in the tech archive

I would tow the tin tent down but I cannot drive for another 5 months, not that I'm counting.;)

Oil and filters changed. Wiper blades changed too ready for the MoT test on Monday. Rear wiper arm had seized where the hinge is. Took a lot of wriggling with WD40 to get it to move. Put some 3-in-1 on it to try and keep it free but wondering if maybe some grease might be a better idea?
