Some may recall I have had a problem with the MAF being faulty, but the brand new one appears to have the exact same symptoms so been told to check the wiring.... In the meantime, my leak came back
It has been leaking out of the throttle body heater since pretty much the day I got it, but it's got worse to the extent it spits it out over the leads on the left bank, causing ANOTHER bloomin misfire.
So I decided to purchase a replacement gasket....except they don't do just the gasket, so 24 quid later I get a small kit that I need to stick on to stop the leak.
Anyone done it? Should I apply some icky sticky or just slap it on as is? (Normally I would apply gasket sealant, but I don't want to risk it causing some malady which will cause it to start leaking all over again
)
Other than that, I have a whole 'nother EAS valve block & pump and a "O" ring kit and new NRV's so they're getting done starting today... Then hopefully get George up & down like a lady of the evenings undie's
