Finally. Finally got the glovebox to close. A small victory, but one that's been bugging me for ages!! It was the two screws with nyloc nuts on which hold the catch mechanism in the right place that was the problem.
Was going to wash her, but waiting for the silicon sealant to go off after changing pollen filters. Next weekend for that......

You know you can adjust the gap as well. There's 4 screws in the top and 2 at the front. Slacken the 4 going up and screw the 2 in a bit. Stopped mine from rattling doing that.

Are those on the hinges at the bottom? The two I had to adjust were at the top, where the catches are. Not sure I saw any other screws around them?

Yes. At the top. On mine its 4 black going up on the inside and 2 silver going back. When you look at the front.

Took the stupid foam nudge bar off n put me new bumper on.
Oh and then parked it up and ordered a new air strut fcuking thing when pop

Thankgod ! Then nudge bars are gastly, any bar on an l322 looks wrong ! Lol
Is that strut on your l322 that went pop ?

I just replaced tho whole bumper (£40 off ebay, in the right colour!) as when removing the A bar it left mahoosive holes in the bumper
Yea drivers side air strut. Guy salmon wanted £634.46+vat!!! I actually fell over.
Got an OEM one from duckworthparts £270 delivered

You sure that's genuine OEM for that money
When I changed mine you could only get a Dunlop one for that sort of price
A genuine one is made by Delphi which are about £500 !

I paid £270 last year for a Dunlop !!!
Oh you sure, my original ones from factory where Delphi
Hence Dunlop being the cheaper alternative

The price of the struts has risen over £50 not incl. the VAT in the last 5 months or so....That can't be right lol

Yea I know I need to take them off. Trying to persuade the missis we need to do a 2010 upgrade
