X type 2.5 Indy. No the E is not on the road yet It's on wheels wiring to finish then the glass and interior. Bit cold to work in the garage and warmer climes called. Had a video of the engine start (first time) but seem to have lost it ( effing Samsung phone's ,two faulty since 21/12/14). Will post photo's when I put the new tyres on the new wheels.:)
 
Finished repairing and fitting my cheap side steps,cost me £28 genuine L/R . front box was rotten but step and rubber were in excellent condition . New box and paint, fab brackets and fit 2days. Well pleased with result.(cant do photos sorry)

Don't mind either way to be honest. I don't like side steps, you do, only thing that shows is that i have taste you haven't. :p:p
 
Today I went and saw the nice chaps at Fuel junkie Garage in Dingley to pick up my front axle, whilst there I picked up a Genuine 2 box exhaust for my car and some under bonnet sound deadening from a diesel. What a transformation so much quieter which I think is mostly down to the exhaust as it only had a single box before and all the baffles fell out of that when I tipped it up, the car must have had two boxes at some point as it had a rubber hanging off one of the hangers on the other side. I think it must have been the tightwad on the Shetland Isle that owned it before having the single box fitted.

Like the idea of the sound deadening. My diesel is a tad too loud after driving my petrol car.
 
Well after my problem with power dropping cleaned out intercooler. Upper inlet. no new intercooler hoses in the end yet. And shes running beautifuly again. New pipes to map sensor and psi box. Removed my 'hot start fix bodge' as i only actually needed it till i had found the filter casing was broken a while ago. after 5 mins or an hour no plugs and fires straight up straight away.
