Yes. You bridge the relay and run the pump for for bit on earlies, same as fuel flow test. you just use the ignition on yours.but don't early models only pump on cranking, later models just ign on?? Mines 2001 so I just have to cycle the ign.
Ahh, I remember now. I did the flow test with no available help, hence the jumper wire I made up. I could hold the measure pot with one hand and bridge the relay with the other, used the stop watch on my phone.Yes. You did it didn't youYou've got to do the water drain thingy bob tight enough when you put the new filter on or it wee's everywhere![]()
No, i didn't (tighten it enough) i was quite sure it was flipping tight already thoughYou did it didn't you![]()
When a son available I send them underneath to take out sump plug to drain oil when no one available pipe down dip stick pipe and use suction pump.![]()
Did the oil and filter on mine also, along with the fuel filter. I've got the new wheel bearing g to fit and a slimline reverse light which is brighter than the candles in the boot lid. We have no street lighting out here in the sticks and little more would help

AIRBAG FAULT back and also the SRS light is on. FFS.
Early one can be used, means a minor chopping off of some lower brackets AND a new compressor to condensor pipe. Island sell them, not cheap though. The P38 has been retired from daily duties to now being a weekend only car. It’s thanked me by throwing a constant ABS/TC fault, so need to get the Nanocom on that..
But today has certainly highlighted the need for me to fix the air con. There’s certainly a leak from somewhere, so I think a new condenser is likely the culprit (maybe the compressor), it’s an early (as in 1st Jan) 2001 model - I am struggling to find out definitively if I can procure one of the cheaper early condensers or if I need to dig deeper and get a late one. Anyone have any advice?
