What did you do with your Range Rover today

Had problems with rear left going down earlier in week. Soapy water proved a leak. New bag arrived today, fitted (not by me I must add) No more leak :vb-angel1:

Picked up another new bag at yard today that is fully extended that just needs folding over on itself, any tips anyone. Neighbour is going to try at weekend lowering his 2 poster slowly down onto it to get it to fold back.

Put some air in it first. Then as it folds the air should come out but help the bag stay in shape ?

Normally you put them in, lower a bit on the jack and make sure the bag is folding over nicely, let it inflate slightly then pop the boot and adjust as necessary, then lower a bit more. Then shut the boot and hopefully it will lift itself off the jack.

What I do with bus airbags is to put them in plac with the bus jacked up, use a tyre inflator to inflate the bag. It will soon take its right shape. the tyre inflator, giving about 90 psi inflates it in a few seconds. Or if you must fole them to shape first, it can be a pig of a job trying to fold the ends over. One hand inside, the other outside. Use tyre fitters paste on the top and bottom of the air bag, it help it to settle a lot easier.

Had some of that, don't like the Klene Prep for clearing everything out but the lady consultant is rather nice. Bonne chance.

Finally got a nano for it. I'm not sure if I'm reading it right though, but if I am, the fuel value should be 5ish, but is currently 63 (or is it the 23.5)? So running lean.

And the timing, should be around 50%, so is currently retarded. If I am right, the percentage is set by static timing and the fuel quantity set by giving the top half of the pump a few love taps?

Ok maybe I'm being thick.. won't be the first time.. how do you torque the nut on the control arm to 120lbft +90 degrees of you can't even get a ring spanner on it!?

Is the ball joint ruined already?
If so, then a ball joint fork can force it out at the cost of the rubber boot

Last time 3yrs ago they found that great tumor if you remember Looking for different result this time. I had to stay very close to loo after the Klene prep and do agree not very nice.
