What did you do with your Range Rover today

Still driving it at the moment. Minimal coolant loss so I think I am only losing it through the exhaust at the moment. Hoses make Dirk Diggler look impotent. If all goes well I will take the head off this weekend and see what needs replacing.

Lay in a muddy puddle and changed rear discs and pads on L322 (actually really ok).

Failed with handbrake shoes though

At least there aren’t any loose bits of drum brake rattling around inside the disc now

Took the head off.

Not really any visual signs of anything wrong, which is a bit annoying. Some of the head bolts didn't seem as tight as others, particularly the rear left one by the bulkhead. There was a vague scuff by the water coolant hole in the gasket but I wonder if that would do anything.

Need to borrow a straight edge and then see where we are.

No steam cleaned cylinder? Surface plate and engineers blue would show more than a straight edge.. Need to get the head pressure tested.

No, all looked pretty good to be honest. I'll take a picture of the gasket at the rear corner. That's the place it might have loosened a bit and there's a hint of damage on the gasket so it might just have been enough to push gas across when at pressure.

All too common now. 'Luckily' my evri guy leaves stuff around the back for us, no knock, no card, I just have to check every morning at his favourite place if I'm expecting something.
Only yesterday I heard a knock at the door, took me 10 secs to open it to see a crappie van with no signage
Driving away and an expensive item by my front door. Front door is 2 feet away from the busy footpath and could have easily been stolen if no one was in. No card left either.

Check the photo. Had that before and it was to a house 1/2 a mile away - I didn't even recognise the property. Only by chance did one of their friends know one of my friends and knew my name. Feckin useless f*ckwits.

We live in a house number 7, we get stuff for streets two away from us and for the square at the back of ours, even had peeps call food delivery to the Sheltered accommodation at the bottom of the street, which by the way is a cul-de-sac ...

Had that problem with Amazon delivery over here, item delivered to a farm some distance away. Good luck finding it.

I've been out all weekend, so will find out a bit later.

Ok I've been stupid and used the wrong tracking number. There's several on the receipt. It's showing as still not delivered

Our Amazon deliveries usually say "handed to resident", but in reality just left on the doorstep. I often put that in the feedback with a photo, as that's the one thing Amazon actually checks before they allow the comments to be visible !!
