Did you plug the bonnet switch in?Something works because it won't lock with the bonnet open, will do with the bonnet closed.
Unplug it and try to lock. don't close the bonnet, we might end up back to the "flat battery and cant get in"

Thank you!! I would never have figured that out!!
Switch tested and works just fine. Open loop when closed or pulled fully open.
Need to see if it goes open loop when the bonnet is shut, or if the bonnet catch needs adjusting to pull the bonnet down more
It's to simulate'bonnet closed' when you're working on the car. It's the same on bmw cars (it's a bmw switch)Just come back to this.
When I checked mine (cos of you) I pulled my switch up and it seemed to click (thought nothing of it), I wonder if its a test position or a position to be able to test other things with the bonnet open .
Anybody else with an L322 want to go out and see if when they open the bonnet they can pull it up and feel a slight click that then doesn't show bonnet open on the dash.

But i can't make it share files so it's crap!Got a different vm running so at least i can get diag installed to reset the battery
Yes.The battery I've taken out is now fully charged and I've just done a drop test on it.. just under 11v and holding, which is good.
Can a failing battery pass a drop test?
Something new to learn!Yes.
What make? bought a Hankook in AugustOn my P38, I did a shopping run no problem. An hour later I had to go to the airport to pick up guests who would be staying in my Gite. The battery was as flat as a pancake, it would not even jump start. It was battery sudden death syndrome, new battery sorted it. Guests had to get a taxi!
I had 2 Varta batteries that failed as soon as winter set in, wouldn't even start my micro tractor. The Hankook has been on the P38 since July 2012. They do not respond well to being left under charged, mine are on solar chargers at all times when not being driven. I have Hankook batteries in 4 cars and a lawn tractor. What battery? After using Bosch/ Varta for 20 yrs i decided to get a hankook in August this year... it completely collapsed

..completely collapsed at the weekend ....Reconditioning it now, not sure if it will be succesful.
I can no longer get Hankook here in France so I have just fitted a Yuasa to my tractor. This seems to be about the biggest that will fit the L322.. 26.3kg and 110/950
