I'd go for something like this and change the ends to a cig lighter plug. Reviews are good too,

Silly question time. What/where isnthe inverter shown as step 3?
For a bit thick about this type of thing person. Would this ⬇️ be a better type?

Dealt with what appears to be Galvanic corrosion between the door handle & door skin of one door, very strange! I've never seen it before, the door skin around the handle entry points had been eaten away to dust and the plating on the plastic handle & lock cover has lifted in some areas and corroded away. A replacement handle was £71 and the lock cover was £18 - both painted, the etch primer & touch-up paint for the exposed metal I already had, so not too expensive a fix - just perplexing as to what caused it!

I'm guessing @gold rover means this from the one I posted. @gold rover The inverter is an additional bit of kit that gives you 240v off the battery, it's not required for charging.

Brilliant. That is the one I was referring to, and the answer I was looking for. Next question/comment. The ones that go to the cigarette lighter state to not use whilst driving. Does this type also have to have something removed before driving? Or can they stay connected with no adverse issues?

It's better to use the permanent live located behind the P38 left side trim panel for the trailer hook up, it's a proper fused supply and easily accessible. There is also a ground wire there too.
Otto's trailer socket appears to be wired in on crimped fittings in the right rear, below where the loom goes to the tailgate and driver side rear lamp connection. I've never needed to delve into the left trim yet.
