My Transit has a test button on the fuel filter, it has been passing the test without a filter change for nearly 15 years now.How often should you change the fool filter on 4.4 tdv8? Presume you need a decent one not britpart?
What does the test button do?My Transit has a test button on the fuel filter, it has been passing the test without a filter change for nearly 15 years now.
The button is depressed, it draws fuel through the filter as it returns under spring pressure, if it hits the green marker in the right time period, the filter is OK. No water drain on the filter either. What does the test button do?
This one doesn't have a water drain so it's only ever going to fill up.
