Found out the rain sensor doesn't work since new screen fitted is it easy enough to check if it's been plugged in? Or does the mirror need ungluing? Imagine you need special stuff to reattach
From what I've read seems like they've fitted a screen without a rain sensor so now i just have intermittent wipe only buggers need to sort it out!! I thought the rain sensor was in the mirror assembly not got me laptop to check. From what I've read seems like they've fitted a screen without a rain sensor so now i just have intermittent wipe only buggers need to sort out out!! I'm too lazy to lift a finger when i can't see anymore
A bit of googling and it seems the sensor is bonded to the screen, not part of the mirror as such.I thought the rain sensor was in the mirror assembly not got me laptop to check.
But yes if it did work and now it doesn’t it’s on them.
I to agree that lifting fingers is a bit of a chore.
Not sure I remember how to turn high beam on/off now

My finger is withering away
I don't have lights set to auto as they are HID which don't like to be switched on and off eg in tunnels
I'm surprised that twiddling your knob doesn't elicit sounds from your wifeTypical, half way to Northumberland and the wife turned the radio down to talk on the phone and now there's no sound no matter how much I twiddle the knob.
