That’s pretty much how I’ve run the cable, though I’ve got the rear seats folded forward so it’s sitting on the carpet under neath their bases, I ran the fan heater in there on and off for a bit aswell to hopefully put some of the moisture into the air for the dehumidifier to grab easier. Didn’t want to heat up the interior too much though with the huge nearly full lpg tank in the boot. Over the past few days manage around 2 1/2 litres. Gonna run it overnight again as I’m stopping at my parents tonight on the sofa as I did get nearly enough done that I wanted to do today and didn’t even get to the sealing up so didn’t want to undo all that dehumidifying if there is a bunch of water sitting under the plenum as it’s level enough that even with the rain none has dripped down.
Mate took the mick so didn’t by the time I got back it was chucking it down and when that stopped I knew I wouldn’t have enough time to strip and seal and get it back together. So instead I cracked on with the lpg wiring. Not happy with some of the crimp connections I did but should be fine for testing purposes as more wanted to make sure I’m definitely connecting up the right wires then I can always do it properly and solder them.
Got it all connected up, key the ignition and the button lit up which is a good sign saying it’s on petrol started it up and presumably it must fill the lines with gas ready for when you want to swap over but instantly smell of gas so shut her off pulled the fuse. Pretty much every line after the reducers needed tightening up as it was leaking from around 7-8 places tightened up and there was one remaining leak on the connection to the drivers side reducer, pipe looked like it had been over tightened in the past and split so chopped a bit off as plenty of excess and it still leaked so tried another couple hose clamps that I had to hand and nope still leaking so not sure if it’s actually just not clamping enough or if it’s actually leaking from behind the Barb but it started to rain again and was getting dark so I’m leaving that for tomorrow gonna unscrew the Barb and try reselling it and see if that makes a difference. Then assuming no leaks I might actually be able to get it to swap over the lpg.
