What did you do with your Range Rover today

You could probably sell your Nano, Then with the money and a bit added (less than the cost of codes) and get the Gap:). Loads of live data recordable.
They are a mid £400s, thats my man math for the day:D.

Downside is you do actually have to find a buyer and sell the nano, transfer ownership etc

Dont know what the Nano does so couldn't say. But it has done everything I have needed so far, granted not needed it much. but has paid for itself already for sure. You would have to compare the sites.

Bet you can get near £300 for the Nano (+the £50) for transfer (fink) Nanos are over £400 new, aren't they?

its gone up now, £500 for p38 motronic!!
£250 for can-bus codes, not vin locked, plus a cable at £70 :eek:
but you keep the existing codes

In that case its worth nearer £350 to sell easy. (my man math is getting closer:p)

When you say not vin locked but is that just to read/clear codes? the Gap is vin locked but will read codes (not sure about clearing) on any vin. Not been able to try myself not many 2011 TDV8s around here;).
Lots of guys on here have Gap for the newer RR and Ds even Hippos have them:eek:.

Not putting the Nano down in anyway they have helped the the RR p38 community no end:).

My understand is it will work fully on any can bus vehicle so long as it's compatible. Ie any 10-12 L32 but not the early ones, also FL2, RRS etc

Can you not go on the BBS forum and ask for feedback as to what "fully" means (obviously dont mention Gap;)).

the Nanocom has NO vehicle model or ECU menus to select from, instead, under the CAN-BUS VEHICLE option, the Nanocom initiates a “VIN detection” function, which tells the unit exactly which vehicle is currently connected. After the VIN detection process, there is a list of diagnostic and service functions
my mistake, its for any supported L322, codes for other canbus cars sold separately;
unlock code to expand existing coverage by adding the Range Rover L322 2010-2013 to any Nanocom

i honestly dont know what its worth, i've spent more on it than i'll see back eg its got 4 virtually new new tyres on it, have replaced the abs modulator etc, everything works, gearbox seems really good since i topped it up, very smooth
is £2k job lot reasonable? its tired inside, needs a good clean, new headliner, the usual

Good engine of course:rolleyes:. Dont know prices really wouldn't want to guess in today's market.

i thought it was getting exhaust in the coolant after i did the headgasket and what with being poorly, i sorned it and left it to suffer. it could have been me being paranoid ( wouldnt be the first time!) but it seems to be ok currently, done quite a few journeys now

Then sell nano separate?

Not played but believe the GAP does more, possibly even including software updates for the car. Sure some long-standing members went GAP when they got their L322s. Maybe @biketeacherdave or @ukadamwest know? Or @myfirstl322 ?

Yes the gap tool does loads more you need to vin unlock it to access the more advanced features but the basic ones are pretty good. Mines unlocked to all my current landies but iv yet to use the advanced functions.
I did unlock it to my mates D3 so we could programe new keys for his motor.

Iv just picked up something err myself so have unlocked the vin so I can do the same.
What for a new post shortly
