Down to €1.89.9 hereDiesel is cheaper than petrol in France, but prices go up and down so much these last few weeks it's difficult to keep track.
Diesel at our local has gone down to €2.02 p lt, that from a high of €2.50 3 weeks ago. Needless to say haven't bought any at these prices yet, I can probably go another couple of weeks before I need to start tapping into the 40 lt I have in jerry cans - one bonus of not having to go to work.
"France produces an excess of diesel" Where did you get that from?France produces an excess of diesel, I'm told. Whereas the UK has a shortfall ... and probably buys it from France.

It really is when you're able to get past 4 cars a 40' and an ancient motorhome on one straightI put £90 of petrol in it tonight. It works out at roughly 16 MPG which I find acceptable for the grin factor!! Commuting is a real pleasure
