I bit the bullet last year ... And built another shed.
Did you build it on top of the other one like I said?
I know it saves lot of space. My father did it went3 stories. Uncle said it would blow over in a year. 30 years later after my father died took 3 men 2 weeks just to get it down to ground level. Only then they realised he’d gone down too :D

Been faffing about the last couple of days trying to fit new seals and bearings to the front hubs on Buttercup. Only 3/4 way through one side at the moment cos I have lost confidence in what I am doing regarding fitting the new seals.
I was so chuffed that everything came apart, no seized bolts, that I forgot to take notes on seal depths as I took them out. Now have created a new thread asking for help.
Bummer:(:(:(:( it's an age thing.
We've all been there one time or another. Chin up:):)

B*ll*cks eldest son paid a visit Friday then phoned a few hours later he had just tested positive for covid. Today the good lady is laid up feeling absolutely crap. Will try and do a test later but looks like going to be stuck around the house for a few days:eek::eek:

Sorry to hear that, all triple jabbed no doubt with what is proving to be an absolutely useless vaccine.

Cheers Keith Eldest has had covid and all his jabs and is feeling a bit off it as is his wife. My wife has had all jabs but hasn't had covid (she has now) and is feeling dog rough. Just have to keep an eye on her.

Not great but here's a pic, the oil hole is on the other edge on the other 'side' rockersView attachment 260409
One left, one right each cylinder. If they are the wrong way round (face to face or back to back, can't remember which is right) then the pad doesn't sit over the valve stem. Right way round they do. I 'think' it was with the dimples further apart not closer together on Otto.

More evidence that the jab is useless against the current variants. My grandson and his girlfriend have just had Covid, he 1 jab a long time ago, she 3 jabs, guess who was the sickest? Hope you all get well soon.

Got oil and filter and a new sump bolt since it looks like its started doing land rover things now so I'll probably do that tonight,

Intercooler soaking revealed small leak where the airways join the end tank. Epoxy resined up looks good job too. Last time I used the tub was when I stuck that glow plug back together few years back so no idea of integrity. Aired out, refitted and put one of the new hoses on, monster of a size and very tight fit compared to standard. Jubilees only just expanded enough.
Changed few spills for the gates stuff off Alan. Superb stuff Flossie-pipe is a must for diesel owners imo.
Had a sort of clanging lately like front exh pipe is loose? Obviously pipe is okay, looked underneath at the exhaust manifold area - all looks clean so guessing that’s not leaking. Only other thing can think of in that area is the dmf
Win for today finish putting it back together tomorrow
