You're obviously not trying very hard are you?"well it needs replacing so I might as well try and fix it first, I can't break it any more".
You only reach the last stage after numerous fix attempts that have resulted in screw heads mashed, bolts sheared and seal surfaces never sealing again
Nice knob.Stuck me shiny new gear knob on to replace the broken one and attempted to glue the Arial buttons back on to the rear quarter light glass with conductive paste. Don't think it's worked very well but I'll check tomorrow once it's fully dried. New and broken knob pics below. Must say I'm impressed with the new knobs quality, think it's solid brass.View attachment 257887 View attachment 257888 View attachment 257889
If it's not broken then fix it until it is.It always depends how long a jobs taken and how many beers I've had in the process...
You know you shouldn't have taken the stabilisers off.No meds as such, but a turmeric and black pepper supplement twice a day for the wrist I screwed up in a bike accident in 2007. Seriously takes the ache out of it.
Trying to keep the pill count that low too.
I have had at least 5 heart attacks, probably more than 7 where I didn't go to Hospital, its all to do with what I are as a kid, my dad had a fish and chip shop, and that's what I ate, pie chips fish, all deep-fry in lardChrist I'm the fittest out of the lot of you.

@kermit_rr the doc won’t find anything wrong with you. No cure for green oval syndrome

Yes red is the faster p38faster than yellow though that’s why I went for the multicolour
some would say the red P38s are quicker but I think green is

Very fortunate there thenDecided to wash the key in the washing machine. Not a conscious decision but still a decision. Thought I'd emptied my pockets. Thought wrong. Oh how I laughed when, on emptying the machine I realised. No litle red light on pressing buttons. So thought I'll leave it on radiaor shelf deal with it later. Gave the botton a push this morning, and it lives!
At least it'll have got rid of sand, muck, hay dust, and the rest of the crap that gathers in the corners of pockets, to find their way into key casings
