also, should there be splines on the arm to match the splines on the spindle? mines smooth cant remember if thats because its worn smooth and knackered or if its just a 'wind it on tight AF' jobWhy isn't the frigging rear wiper working????

How do you know the correct position to reinstall the wiper blade? Or does the motor stall at the vertical position?

its a working motor off a scrapper, mine was beyond repair. i've no clue what position the motor is in but can more or less assume its not at *exactly* the 6 o'clock positionPut it on it the same place you took it off
you took the whole arm off?
Go on tell us you took it off and then closed the tailgate so it finished its cycle.

i'm currently thinking put the motor on, let it park, then draw a horizontal line on the spindle tip, fit arm accordingly. let it park, if its too low, then adjust.its a working motor off a scrapper, mine was beyond repair. i've no clue what position the motor is in but can more or less assume its not at *exactly* the 6 o'clock position
