A switch on the brake pedal
Kind of an obvious safety feature, even my 32yr old daimler has it.
Not when the engine isn't runningThe point was the cruise uses a vacuum and pressing the pedal might produce a hiss / pop sound as that vacuum is released.
I had something similar for a while, replacing the fusebox was the answer for meThink the solenoid on the starter is going sideways..
she decided to do nowt the first key turn, luckily she spun over on the second try!
