A common issue Kermie on most cars sadly. Usually manifested by heavy handed operation of the stalk instead of gentle operation which then leads to the sticking on or coming off effect. Sometimes a clean up of the points with an ear bud and some good electrical contact spray can fix it as a lot of dust does tend to get in there over time which can clog the contacts. If that fails then its either live with it or replace the stalk and IMHOP its always best to fit a new item as a used item can be just as bad if not worse.Anyone elses indicator cancel when turning the wheel in the same direction you indicate? It's really annoying but not sure it's something i can be bothered to fix
its the mechanical part, not the electrical. eg, indicate right, start to turn the wheel right and the indicator cancels back to the middle position. if I try to stop it cancelling with my finger, you can feel something jamb/catch up insideA common issue Kermie on most cars sadly. Mine is £280 but it does run on LPGConfirmation just come through, Rangie is taxed for another 12mths. Came through a lot quicker than last year, definitely things are improving now.
£140 for the year. Certainly upsets a neighbour whose 1.6 Zaffira is much more.
I get a 50% discount because of my PIP award. Serves me right for having a misspent youth and knackering my bodyMine is £280 but it does run on LPG
Took Rangie for MoT test, or rather the missus did. Turbo hose blew off giving her a shock. I hadn't had a chance to test it after fitting at the weekend. Never mind, they'll stick it back on for me.
Replace then Kermie and be done with it.its the mechanical part, not the electrical. eg, indicate right, start to turn the wheel right and the indicator cancels back to the middle position. if I try to stop it cancelling with my finger, you can feel something jamb/catch up inside
