:violent: nobody in their right mind would trust me with my own gun but I do go clay pigeon shooting .... No dogs until I retire lets just prey the old girl is still going ... (Not the bread knife....)
Hmmm... Mines next month... and there is a leak from the self levelling shock.
It looks like it will a right bastid to remove
I dunno much about that thing. Did the SD1 have the same one? There is a pace that does a refurb, but they are becoming like very rare.
Plus 2" on the length of the shocks? That should knacker the height sensors the first time you reach full articulation or jack it under the chassis.Fitted 3 new hubs (wheel bearings). 4 new terrafirma shocks (+2in) replaced 2 front mud shields and repaired 2 rear mud shield brackets. Replaced rhr height sensor. Drained and refilled diffs. Replaced O rings on engine cooler pipes. Renewed gearbox cooler pipe ( had one made up at the hydraulic pipe place I use also had spare made up for other side and easy to fit .These pipes are steel lined not canvas lined like the originals. I have also had two original ones go so will not trust britpart ones.)
Today I will start on replacing the front radius arm bushes and then fit a bull bar and hopefully start getting ready for next trip to exotic places (Morocco looks inviting for winter.

Have fun putting the nut back on the radial arm I found a forklift helps and a trim of the bush

You did not mention you had done that, hope you fitted Gen III's or you will pop the bags off their seats.Look up the height sensor fix on rr ,net
Yesterday ! i washed Gym (series 2 1971)
Today I sold my Series 2:-( but the funds will go into getting the SRS light out by the purchase & fitting of a new seat air bag every cloud ay !!!
After lunch i washed, polished, cleaned inside & preped & re leather painted the cream sections of the P38's steering wheel.
(how do you get photo quality reduced so i can get pic up on the site, really frustrating.) ?
If it's a P38, the seat airbags are useless and I can give you a MOD that will fool the SRS ECU into thinking the airbag is present.
