I need to do something with the rather scuffed/manky alloys on "Buttercup".

I'm thinking repaint in silver, the doris has suggested body colour, others have said black (which I think might be a bit over the top)

So lets just pretend she was yours (buttercup that is not the doris - though I might be tempted to do a swap for a decent compressor or new fishing brolly) what colour wheels would suit you??

Car is yellow and black trim, so black is the only colour for wheels.
No, I beg to differ, that car is not yellow it's "F@#&ING YEEELLLLOOOOWWWW"
Yes, black wheels would be my choice. Not normally a fan of black wheels but for yours, yes.

If i was to respray a car, that would not be my first colour choice that's for sure.

How about black with a yellow rim, or the other way around?
I always go for the original, in which case grey is correct, but as you've already decided on the car looking like a canary ...

My 1st choice of colour was Tuscan blue, but the doris suggested bright yellow and to be honest I quite liked the idea. Its' a nice happy colour. :):):)

I think I'll go with black for the wheels.

So thanks chaps for all the input, focused the last couple of brain cells.

What HP and CFM compressor were you considering for the swap?

She can't bring the yellow thing that should also have yellow wheels and white walled tyres .
