Well... I just bought a 1998 Land Rover Discovery LE the other day. Went to the dealership after a 2001 Ford f-150 4x4, but couldn't get the price down low enough. The price of used trucks here is extremely outrageous. The Land Rover had caught my eye earlier, it was about the only decent 4x4 in my price range ($7900), it had relatively low miles, and its something different. I'm still trying to decide if it was a good idea or not.
I was doing some research on Land Rovers as I know absolutely nothing about them and I happen to come across this site. I decided I might as well join.
Anything a Land Rover noob should know?
