slowly on its way to my workshop for full restoration later in the year

the roller , built by thomas green and sons , of the smithfield iron works, the greens griffin roller was originnaly used by trevor willis ltd, deacon rd, lincolon.. for road rolling , but thats as much as i kno at the mo, any one have any ideas let me kno

how come is it a home made silencer on that or a straight pipe and what engine is it running im intrigued as im thinking of truck cabbing and stacking my series 3 running the original 10j derv n/a injun

its an ldv 2.5 n/a

the exhaust has a bend just after the manifold then the pipe off a tractor , simples

not runnig yet, it has a 2 pot petter ava2 diesel, the type they have in canal boats, im just lookin for a starter motor at the mo then its ready to run,

I know when you said the T20 was a bit tatty, I didn't expect a 2gal make over, from the pics it doesn't look like its seen much work since the paint was thrown at it!!

Evenin stu,

Was like that when I picked it up, I think it was recently tarted up in an attemt to sell it, I had other ideas,
it cost me a days work in the end, and I shifted a load of **** for them too,

Enyways , no time to play with old tratters at the mo, its all go on the series again this week, all the old bodys stripped
And ready for the shot blasters on thursday morning , then its all a matter of a few good coats of paint and a bit of wiring,

well, after a dusty weekend, all the body is now sand blasted and layed out in the workshop ready to be sanded and sprayed , forgot to take the camera so will load some pics tomorrow,

mmmmmmm now thats a nice old bit of iron a 5"atlas longbed screwcutting lathe just a little older than my raglan little john mk1

if you ever need parts or tooling steel for that bugger the best place i know of is to ring this fella coz his dad has had nearley evry lathe made since 1925 if he doesnt know about it it never existed

cheers mate, will keep details as have plans to get it earnig a few quid, my machine mart lathes with over head millers have done me well but just not big enough fer the odd ball jobs i come across with old machinary and rusty farm scrap !

tis a nice old machine really, lovely and smooth travel, gap has never been removed as previous owner didnt think they went back in properly after they come out so has never touched it ,

from looking at your top pic, here is a q for you....
Why would my seat box not line up with the tub?
Talking about the top right angle strip on the box, the holes dont line up with the holes on the tub!
Any ideas?
