OK... here's one for you to take to your bosses then Mr. representative of Adrian Flux, if you please... sir
I have a 1966 Rover P5 MKIII 3 litre Petrol car, it's valued at over 5 grand, i can do several thousand miles a year, and my last policy (vehicle is currently SORN), was about 124 quid, oddly enough, from FLUX.
Then i have a 1970 Rover P5B coupe, 3.5 litre... again, Worth way more than 5 grand, again, with several thousand miles allowed per year, and again, fully comp insurance for less than 150 quid.
My RR is a 1998 2.5 diesel... i have almost a decade of NCB, i can't commute to work as the bus garage is at the end of my road and parking is not possible, so i get to drive it once or twice at week max, as i do lots of rest day work as a bus driver.
Why do i need a second mortgage to get insurance with you guys?
The cars book value is £3,390.00, yet i only paid a grand for it, and i don't mind agreeing to a £1,000.00 excess.
I'm far from perfect when it comes to driving, but i don't drive it that much, and i'm not what you'd call a boy racer, so what gives?
You sponsor this here forum page, but what exactly are you doing for forum members?
If you could stop and take us seriously then you'd be king of the RR / LR insurance market.
Yes, from time to time owners do go silly, but that's only going to be at specific off-road events, and it's not as if we can make a claim because something gets broken while being silly now is it.
Mongo,
Feel free to PM me your details and i'll take a look at your details.
Unfortunately we are not going to be competitive on every occasion, if we were, there would be no other insurance company out there!
Jordan.
