Was followed today by colleague with Dakar (somewhere on my profile) I let him pass so I could watch him go through a deep ford (2 foot).

Nearly through and he nearly got swept away, water was too fast.

I did not try as I have more side to my car.

Thought I was going to have to drive round and tow him out.

He said it was fun and wondered why I did not follow, well I have more bodywork so more for water to push against

Well done, it's always tempting but moving water is dangerous and you can throw everything you know about wading depth out the window.

We aren't looking to sign up any more members to the submariners club

Also I still owe Halifax over 3 grand for it!

I wouldnt take this ford on unless I poked a stick in it first......................

Paul d once went through a ford a few years ago. He got his soggy disco back a day or so later a mile down stream or Somate.

I'll see if I can find it.
