Hi all does anybody know a mobile auto electrician in Buckinghamshire/Bedfordshire area who will work on my P38 RR? No one wants to know in Milton Keynes

Hi Merlyn & Wooly , come on lads give us a clue , 99% of auto electricians don't know boiled ham from west ham as far as the p38 goes , the p38 is a minefield as far as the electrics go , when they were first designed and built in the P38 BUILDING , that's where it gets its name from by the way , well it was 30 yrs ahead of itself !!!! BUT & a big BUT . there is plenty of good reliable members on here who through their own trials and tests of working on their own p38 , will give you help and advice to get it sorted , im no expert or electrician but I know a man who does ???? that's how it goes ,, so have some faith and ask !!!!!!! you may well be surprised, so lets get on with it .. regards Mozz
 
thanks,MOZZ and DATATEC, my car will attempt to start on easy start,it has spark,it has fuel pressure 40 psi in the rail,fuel injectors flash when turning over, so crank sensor,seems okay,but no fuel to plugs,Rick call rover checked out becm for me,have engine check light,goes out when cranking,nanacom says yes mobilised,ecu relearnd ,new fuze box,new petrol pump.leads plugs,coil ,fuel regulater crank sensor ,cam sensor,fuel filter.engine has been reconditioned as well,thanks for any help you and other members can give me,ta
 
where has merlyn gone ???? he really is a magian he's changed his thread to wooly ?????? nevermind , details please cos were not magicians , engine type ?? year ?? I presume woolys is petrol v8 ????? thor ???? . merlyn has gone waved his wand and reappeared as wooly ??? come on boys play the game . cheers mozz

what fault codes are you getting on the nanocom. if its trying to start on easy start its nearly there. any change if you disconnect the MAF ?

when you say engine has been reconditioned, has it been running since the engine recon ? who did it, what was done ? was the engine out ?

hi engine was out,wells reid did it,full recondition,heads skimmed pressure tested,and block,new rings bearings etc,has not run before or after recondition,no fault codes,will try it disconect maf today,thanks Adam.
