Hello hello.

I'm Philip, live in London although move to sunny Devon next week.

Never owned a Land Rover. Always admired from a distance. Love the Defender and early series. I have a rubbish C-Max daily drive and a 1992 Mini British Open Classic that I love and use a lot. As I've now skidded past 40 I think more and more about ditching the Mini and get a Land Rover. I have a notion of having a car that was born in the same year as me.. 1973.

So quietly looking for a landy, if you know of someone with one who has a hankering for a Mini point them my way!

Philip

Oh I will be keeping my 2010 C-Max, it would be a replacement for my classic mini, who's heater has a mind of it's own!

:welcome2:

Be wary of making such a transition from modern cars, a heater is a luxury :)

However they are easy to work on and very forgiving :)

If you pull your jumper up over your mouth...breathe in through the nose, out the mouth it keeps you quite warm in the winter!!

I'll try that after three packets of chewing gum and vegetarian curry for lunch on my next journey home from work:puke:

Welcome, I hope you're not easily offended and can give as good as you get

Thank you for the welcomes!

I spent hours today "working from home" (searching on ebay for a land rover) and so many I would love. Mostly it's older ones that butter my parsnips.. Ideally a swap for my mini would work but more likely have to sell it and then buy something. Fingers crossed!

Welcome

just go for it, if you don't like it never mind, if you do, you have had an experience
