Wanted- Defender 90 300TDi or TD5 £15k budget

Just realised I've put this in the wrong section but not sure how to delete it?
Hi all, I'm looking for a Defender 90 with rear seats, ideally a soft top but not essential. This will be our daily runaround, so needs to be mechanically sound. I've been told to go for an 05/06 TD5 but I'm keeping an open mind. Budget is around £15k. I'm currently in the West Midlands but moving to Norfolk in a few months time. Thanks, Darren

There's plenty for sale in that budget.
Ebay doesn't look great though.

Have a look on Auto Trader, currently a few nice looking TD5 County/XS Station Wagons around the £12-14k mark.

Quite a few TDi's £12-14,000 but only a couple are genuine Station Wagons.

Don't worry too much about mileage, go on condition. 150,000 miles or more is fine if it's otherwise a good one.

Obviously if you see one that's done less than 100,000 it's worth a look, but there's no guarantee that it will be any better than the 150,000 miler.
