Have to try a head job and see if it fires.Well done, always a sigh of relief when she fires up after head job....well before quickly scurrying about bleeding the coolant system whilst choking on the oil burning off the exhaust manifolds.
Bit more involved than that Peter but thanksIf you have emptied the fuel manifold, you need to run a couple or more 'ignition on' cycles as the fuel pump only runs very briefly, as mentioned on another thread.

I'm sure I've seen one in the back of the garage a long time ago, my garage comes second to Grrrrrr's shed.Can you still get those gunson bluetune things. (basically a spark plug with a window in it.
I've used them in the past to find which cylinder is missing and then it's easier to find the cause.
