Have had a few weeks of the radio cutting in and out
Now the screen has gone blank permanently, though has powered behind it
have removed the navigation unit and refitted it in case was a loose wiring
have removed fuse 49 for 10 minutes and refitted it
have removed the connectors to the amp and tuner in the boot and refitted it, slight corrosion on 3-4 pins of one of the connectors to the aluminium unit (which ever one that was amp/tuner). Cleared the corrosion with a pin and refitted
does anyone else have any thoughts, will a replacement unit from a breakers yard be the only fix left?

thanks in advance

Hi jasutton I had same problem investigated to find water in tyre well so thought the module was fried but then learned that there is two white fibre optic cables goes into the Nokia unit in back left compartment located at the top if you remove them from the clip and point them at each other the head unit should work fine

Be good to hear whether or not it worked.

French dame my screen just showed LR logo and orange flashing light so disconnected the fibre optics from Nokia unit and put one into either end of piece of rubber piping and hey presto radio working again.... saved a fortune
