Freelander 1 android multimedia screen

hello guys. I previously had a Chinese multimedia screen which broke, but it never "fitted" the car. I have the known problem of 1din space. below there is the alarm and the ac button and on the upper side there are the vents. so it kinda blocks me. I have to ask. have anyone purchased a screen that fitted OK? have anyone made any mods to the central unit so the screen could fit?
finally, do you know any tested units that aren't slow as hell and can fit on this car? thanks in advance!

Is something like this not an option?


When it comes to the speed of the thing, just make sure it has enough memory (64gb) and a quad core processor the least.

it uses phones map. so it is quite inaccurate. I don't know if it's because of the city and how small are roads, crossovers etc, but most phones I have tested have many meters difference, which makes them useless.

This one comes with Apple Carplay (or AndroidAuto for that matter). So it would use your phone's google maps. If that's inaccurate you need to calibrate the GPS on your phone, has nothing to do with the radio unit.
