Have you tried running it with the front prop removed?
Haha.... the annoying thing is its going to turnout to be something so simple and hopefully inexpressive. On the plus side, you can say that at least the other parts are spot on.
Well stuff me if it doesn't sound like the swivel preload needs adjusting. I was reading about it yesterday and it sounds almost identical to what I'm getting. Gonna try and get it done at lunchtime today and see if that will sort it out. I do seem to recall that anytime I've had the wheel and track rod off there's no way that its set at 6kg! Some shims shall be taking a holiday I think

Lol I actually had read that before I got your pm and really was looking out a spring balance when I messaged you back but ok I'll give you a wee gold star for helping me lol
 :violin: :high5:
Swivel preload on drivers side was fine. Bout 7kg but not bad. The passengers side is fecked, took about 14kg on that bugger so a swivel rebuild it looks like.
Didn't solve the problem though so back to it I guess. My mate who has worked with land rovers for nigh on 20 years said it definitely sounds like the tyres to him
Disco what?
