Some are variants, but from reading article seems LR are moving to a more versatile platform, so can go smaller, or bigger relatively easily. The new owners are bound to want to capitalise on recent success with FL2 and Evoque and they need less expensive product - or home made product for world markets. I read somewhere that FL2 kits are shipped to China for final assembly, which must make them cheaper to buy in that market? Tata will build cars all over Asia, with premium price stuff (RR) still built here - my guess!!!
