I am far from a hero, all this is research, and it could be wrong at that, we won't know until you decide to try something. Do keep us posted on what you decide. Shop around for prices on the solenoids, there are a few places I hear in the UK that have better prices then the dealers.

Update on my gearbox that has intermittent harsh gear changes, especially 2-3 and 3-2.
Changed the 2/4 brake duty solenoid and the Line pressure solenoid.
Gear changes now even worse than before.

I personally have difficulty tracking things when they are cross posted. I will of course post in your own thread.

Yes it is a bit confusing, I am posting in the other threads as I dont want someone with similar problems to change solenoids that might not be the faulty ones like me.
