uploading photos and general new forum winge

It's pretty crap.
The new forum is backwards in compatability with the modern world being totally unsuitable for smart phone browsing. Is it this bad on tablets too?
Any way main rant is why does the up load limit say 23 mb of photos and a 5.5mb pic can't be uploaded? It's really dissapointing. Also the old site had alternative ways of getting round posting pictures.

I'm a newbie, so never knew the old ways, but seems to work fine on iPad, including photos.

I agree, it's a pain in the posterior on an iPhone though.

In what way do you think it's backward in compatibility with smart phones? The old VB was an absolute arse without a third party app, this one is designed to be used from your browser.

Will have to have a look at what limits we have set for pictures and see what the situation is.

In all ways backwards compatible. I could use the old page straight through the browser on android, never needed the app (although I never tried it so maybe it was good). This new version is not compatible with my main method of browsing, ie smart phone. I have based my phone contracts around data usage, won't be doing hat again. The forum is not usable in landscape at all due to the imposing banner. Then the huge ads with link to an app make the touchscreen not a viable option unless you really wanna download Uber app, funny enough being a car forum I don't get cabs. I know people have worked hard behind the scenes and there is probably a few quid invested but the results aren't great. Sorry to winge but that's the way I'm finding it.

I'm browsing on my smartphone now whilst driving down the M62 and everything seems fine to me. Using iPhone but will try on my android when I stop later.
I've attached a pic in landscape, is this different to what you see?

The key board occupies half the screen. Then the banner a fifth plus the address bar, leaves a bit of space for 9.5lines of text and a massive add about,in this case, waxoyl. Seems you can't take a screen shot with the keyboard up.

Yep I'm seeing that but it doesn't cause me a problem. I can see what I'm writing then, when done I minimize my keyboard to see the forum again.

On my iPhone I can hide adds too, not sure about Android though. Can you see an option for that? You can see from my screenshot that there are no adverts.

Can anybody else comment on this? If there is a bug we need feedback to solve it.

I do find browsing and more so replying in landscape a pain (android) but I prefer portrait anyway.

I cant seem to load any photos from my computer and where are the photo galleries this new format seem to be backward and also I dont do facebook or ****ter

I use a mixture of Laptop, Samsung S5 and Goggle Nexus 10" tablet and think its braw
Upload photos using the laptop and not tried it with the phone or tablet, think its good with images.
No gripes with me.
