The normal fault for no gas shows up as "Compressor Clutch Open Circuit" on diagnostics, this is because the pressure switch in the system is not made. Easiest check is to remove the black plastic valve cap on pipework which runs across bulkhead and briefly depress the valve core...WEAR GLOVES..you can get feeze burns if you're not careful.
