Normally, my mot is due in August, but the government extended all mot's for 6 months due to the virus.
I just checked my date online and it still says the normal due date, so I am confused as I thought I had until February because of the extensions.

Have I missed something, do I need to quickly book an mot test?

I am worried now.

My Alfa was due in June, it's been extended to December 20th. But NI is different, most of the test centres were closed anyway cos the lifts were collapsing.

I was sure the government said all mot's from the time we went into lockdown for the next 6 months would automatically get a 6 month extension to take pressure off garages. I am so glad that I checked today. Now booked in but I won't have any time to do any checks as I am very busy so it will go in blind so to speak. I must take it for a blast down a dual carriageway as it has only done a very few and very short local trips since lockdown.

Mine is due on 3rd August and it IS due then. I understand that the scheme ceased from 1st August.
Mine is already booked in.

My motorhome was due in June and that has been extended until November 18th.

My FL1 TD4 was due on the 7th of May, but has been extended to the 7th of October.
My newly acquired FL2 TD4 was due on the 18th of July, but has been extended to the 18th of December. :)

Mine was due early May but was extended until November, it usually doesn't update until just a couple of days before the due date.
However I contacted my insurance company (Direct Line) about it as I had heard a few things. They said that the extension would be absolutely fine just as long as I was using the car for essential use, such as the main shopping or going to work as the extensions were provided so that people could still carry out those essential tasks. I took this to mean that non-essential journeys could cause an issue if it ever came to it so I got it done.
I had heard that some people were using it an an extra six months that they didn't have to get their cars fixed or replace their bald tyres...

Just checked mine

MOT's up to and including 31/7/20 have been extended. Those from Aug 1st onward are due on their annual renewal date.
You are advised not to use the full 6 months extension, not least because it means twice as many cars as usual will be trying to book appointments at that time.
:)

They really should extend the due date, a lot of people like me misunderstood or completely missed or will miss it due to fear of "death", understandably. Most of the elderly people can't risk getting out for MOT and get infected which is ridiculous in and of itself if you ask me. I know a lot of countries delayed these procedures either for the foreseeable future or until the end of the year. I am pretty sure Covid will still be around in August.
