Hi all,

Is somebody out there to help. Mate of mine has an 88" series 1 and we have installed parabolic springs. The problem is that the UJ on the rear of the gearbox is now slightly too steep and is fouling on itself. Are there any adjustments we can do to alter this?

Many thanks

I fitted parabolics to my series 3 and have not had this problem so far and the body isn't on yet. We can't work out an easy solution for this problem apart from fill the rear tub with concrete!! Lol

What about...loosen shackles, fill tub with concrete, tighten shackles then wash out concrete before it sets.

(you may wish to use something other than concrete.)

Chain around chassis and axle plus a trolly jack - it's how I did mine when I was building the rolling chassis.

All good ideas!! Is Rick Waller for hire these days??! Unfortunately I havent got any photos. Got a 5 ton tirfor winch. Could bodge a pulley system with it. Pain in the arse, we only need to find some second hand wings after this and the beast is complete!
