so if i pull off the pipe to the turbo from the intercooler I should see it ? Is it the same pipe that I teed into to fit my boost guage ? So I would then seal the bottom end connect the top end to the manifold as you have suggested and put my boost guage connector near the manifold end ? :)

I would suggest you make VERY sure you understand what you are doing before you make any mods to the wastegate and turbo, get it wrong and at best you will loose power, at worst you will destroy something and thats always expensive!!

to be honest I ran my wastegate feed from the inlet plenum and I didnt notice or read any difference in boost. I ran the gauge first in the feed to the injector pump and the wastegate hooked up as standard and measured the boost pressure under all driving conditions. I then ran the feed from the inlet and measured the boost again and there was no difference at least none that I could measure or feel

Right check out the epic paint skillllz...

Thats strange as i was running my gague from the inlet, when i moved the wastgate i ran it off the turbo... 5-6psi difference!

yes it is, I had my gauge cut into the injector pump feed just before it goes on to the pump. All I did to change things was fed the wastegate from the inlet instead of by the turbo and I saw no change on my gauge

I wonder, I did have a bigger gas flowed intercooler and steel and silicone hoses maybe the gas could flow much better and there were no restrictions allowing the pressure to equalise much faster so there was no drop

interesting stuff though!

still at a loss lol I have all the tee pieces and hos ready to go but cant quite get my head round where the hos connects to the turbo :(
I need a lightbuld moment then all will become clear :D

well where is that lol

I know i am being a total dimwit is there a pic I work better with them :)
