the 2 inches is the wheel base not rear tub is a good bit longer

I was having a look at some on an old 3 door 109 that I have yesterday and other than being a lot longer, they look identical to my early 90 galvanised cappings. There is no reason why you couldn't use a set and cut them down. Swb versions will be too short though.
