Hmmm possibly. I'm game for any engine as long as it runs underwater, has at least 300hp and mountains of torque and is simple enough for me to service. In fact if I had that much money the servicing isn't a problem. I do seriously plan on doing this to my 90 when I have plenty of money. It will probably be 10 or 15 years yet. I've driven a range rover sport with a tdv8 and that engine is incredible! Didn't get to use it's full power obviously but as a passenger I can confirm that thing shifts! I am considering that but the problem is all of the wiring.
:DA 6/354 would suit you.You might want to keep afew spare halfshafts tho:D

Well this is why I'm waiting. I'll do it when the axles and shafts and engine all go. When I do it, I'll do a proper job of it and change everything for uprated stuff (possibly new range rover).
;)Way to go! always good to use up the kit youve already paid for.I was half joking about 6/354 its prob. a bit old and low revving, but they had ****loads of torque and are"fixable".Im sure the tdv8 is great but iwouldnt know where to begin with fixing it.I always think the old low revving engines had great power character for off road use.

Well I never like to throw away good stuff, It kills me wasting money. I want an inch or two lift but the springs I have are perfectly good so I'm waiting for them to sink or break. Half of me wants them to break so I have an excuse for a lift and I can't bare to throw good kit away.
