Are those plastic wheels? I'm with Wammers on this: there's no chuffing way I'm going under a car with a jack that's got plastic wheels!

Perhap's Grrrrrr, you should look at the description/picture's compare the linked items before replying and have a little less drink before posting.

Wammer's is referring to true over priced "El Cheapo Crap Jack", I'II agree MM aren't the best by far but they ain't at the bottom of the pile by a long way...

Good night all sleep tight....

Aldi's jack is pretty decent at £25 - all metal - only a middling 35cm lift height though. Still cracking value. They sell it about four times per year.

Always use axle stands but even so.

I did read the description but it just says heavy duty castors, not what they're made of. Beer may have affected my vision a little though as on second inspection they look cast or a least the front set do. Rear set a little hard to tell.

I am sure they make a trolley jack with an integral ratchet stop.

so effectively an axle stand once jacked up...

yep agreed, but I do like the idea of this jack with integral ratchet as then I am safer when location the axle stand..

I think the RAC use them. I'll try and find out....got me thinking I need one now..
after 30yrs of not needing one!
